Our Story

Well my name is Allen Lenfield Cronin, and I am 21. I moved to Heber, Az in July 2006, which was a month before my senior year. I started school and made many wonderful friends and if I was to say something to describe them all, it would be {Amazing} I love them all so very much. As I was going to school, I met a wonderful young lady named Angela Potter, I liked her from the moment I saw her. And yes, you could say it was love at first site, but I was too afraid from past rejections to pursue her untill one day a girl named Ali yelled at me and said, " Just ask her out already." So I did and to my suprise she said yes ............ I was tickled pink and I had no idea what to do, but then we started to hold hands in the hall way, and we would make sure we didnt get caught and written up for PDA lol. I took her to prom and she looked amazing, I looked pretty good if I do say so my self.

Anyhow we continued our relationship for a bit after I graduated, then we decided to break it off while I went to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints in the West Indies. It was awesome, During this time, I emailed Angela about 10 times and then I came home not really thinking that anything would happen, but oh how I wanted to be apart of her life again. So we started to talk and talk some more. Then one day I took her to the Snowflake Temple and proposed to her but she can explain all the details.

So I am Angela Lynn Potter, and this is my half of our story. It all started in August of 2006, and what a great year it was. I became friends with a girl named Ali. In the process of becoming better friends with her, she introduced me to an amazing gentleman named Allen Cronin. I liked him from the start, there is no doubt about it. I’m not one to believe in love at first sight, but it was. Later on it was funny because we both knew that we liked each other, and so did everyone around us. So Ali started yelling at Allen to ask me out, he did. I remember that day like it was yesterday, I was in my own little world, nothing could ruin my day. He later asked me to prom by making a big yellow poster. I must say that our prom picture isn’t the best, but it is all about the memories.
As the year went on, Allen graduated and then we decided to break up since he was going to serve a mission. Over the course of his mission he wrote me 15 times, all of which I only answered 8. I felt really bad seeing how I didn’t realize he was writing me at first. When it came closer for him to come home, I wasn’t sure if there would be anything between us. To my surprise, it was as if we never broke up. Actually, things between us were better.

December 10, 2009 Allen drove me out to the Snowflake Temple claiming he wanted to show me something and later saying he had to get something for his mom in Snowflake. I somehow new exactly where we were going, but I kept quiet. When we got to the Temple, we walked around and then stopped in front of the fountain. Then he proposed to me. It was one of the most exciting days of my life.

Now you know our story, all the way from the beginning. What better way to start a blog? L0L
